A SHORT LOVE STORY IN STOP MOTION
Posted on 04. Jul, 2009 by Marko Krulc in ANIMATION
Carlos Lascano has created a stunning short using stop motion and various other animation techniques.
A beautiful and captivating short story of a couple of pencil-outlined birds escaping from a little girl´s drawing, leading us through the life that she dreams of, from falling in love to growing old…

This is absolutely amazing. It is pieces of art like this that make me feel like I am doing nothing with my life. This was an absolute delight to watch.

I enjoyed the animation. I’m just not sure how I feel about this Sigur Ros song fitting the video/story…

Some great techniques employed here, but shockingly cheesey music spoiled it for me : (

got to agree that the music was poorly chosen, sigur ros is just the first instinct of most animators now, like how Lux Aeterna from Requiem For A Dream was used by pretty much every movie trailer for the last 3 years. Great video, just wish they’d thought more about the music choice.
